anywhere else. Inputs in /work/in, results in /work/out. Every verb prints one OK … line
(pages, sizes) or one ERROR … line. Page numbers in options are 1-based, as a person counts.

Verbs chain: write intermediate files under /work/ and only the final result in /work/out.
A scanned PDF has no text to search; for that use scan-to-text first. Give the person the download
link(s) from the OK line and, for protect, remind them to send the password separately.
